New TAIST Tokyo Tech is accepting applications for
The Master's Degree Program in Automotive Engineering (AE) and
The Master's Degree Program in Information and Communication Technology for Embedded Systems(ICTES)
for the academic year 2010.
The deadline of application is on January 28, 2010

The Schedule of Admission

Application Period:          now – 28 January 2010
Interview Date:              1 February 2010
Selection Process:           8 February 2010
Result Announcement Date:    8 February 2009

Applicants’ Qualifications

1. The applicant must stay in Thai or other Asia Pacific countries. An applicant from other countries will be considered in a case-by-case basis.

2. The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or a related field that is accepted by the TAIST Tokyo Tech Executive Committee.

3. The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 or sufficient relevant research or work experience as specified by the Executive Committee.

4. The applicant must submit an official score of an English test, such as TU-GET, KU-TEST, TOEFL and IELTS or come to take an English test conducted by TAIST Tokyo Tech.


Admission and Selection Process

1.   The applicant downloads the application form at the following URL. http://www.nstda.or.th/taist_tokyo_tech/

2.   The applicant fills in the application form and submits it together with the following documents.

   2.1   Two 1-inch recent color photographs
   2.2   An official transcript for bachelor’s degree (and master’s degree if exists).
   2.3   A recommendation from an advisor in the bachelor’s degree (or master’s degree)
   2.4   A recommendation from a teacher, a supervisor, or a qualified person.

3.   The applicant sends all documents to the following address or email.·

4.  The applicant without the English proficiency test needs to take an
   English test held by TAIST Tokyo Tech.
5.  The applicant comes to be interviewed as a specified date and time.
6.  The list of the passed applicants will be announced at the following
   URL: http://www.nstda.or.th/taist_tokyo_tech/

Paper (on the interview date):
    • Completed application form
    • Two photographs taken within the past 6 months (64 cm)
    • Summary of Senior Project or a research plan
    • Official academic record for Undergraduate course
    • Score of either TOEFL or TOEIC taken within two years (at least 500) before the application date if available.
    • Recommendation letter from a faculty member of the student's home institution addressed to the President of TAIST Tokyo Tech.

(1) The admission committee will interview the students on
   February 1, 2009 (Mon) and select the candidates on February 1, 2010 (Mon).
(2) English test on February 1, 2010(Mon) Morning
(3) The announcement will be made on February 8, 2010 (Mo)
