Report from APSIPA 2012
APSIPA ASC (Asia-Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association Annual Summit and Conforence) is the main annual conference of APSIPA (Asia-Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association) founded in 2009. The APSIPA ASC aims to promote research and education on signal processing, information technology and communications, and has been held in Sapporo, Japan (2009), Singapore (2010), Xian, and China (2011). The field of interest of APSIPA ASC concerns all aspects of signals and information including processing, recognition, classification, communications, networking, computing, system design, security, implementation, and technology with applications to scientific, engineering, and social areas.
APSIPA ASC 2012 was held during December 3-6, 2012 at Loews Hotel located in the heart of the American motion picture industry, Hollywood, California, USA. It is organized by international organizer led by C.-C. Jay Kou, Shrikanth Narayanan, and Antonio Ortega, University of Southern California, USA.
