Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Association
To promote and support academic and professional advancement in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, and Information Technology for national and social development.
To be a leading international academic organization connecting researchers, academics, and industry professionals across ASEAN and the world.
At the EECON-20 conference, held at the Sol Twin Towers Hotel in Bangkok and hosted by Chulalongkorn University, the idea of founding an electrical engineering association was first raised — aiming to strengthen academic work in the field and contribute to the nation's development.
A group of researchers from several universities who met regularly took the lead in establishing the association, gathering 26 founding members. Around September, the application to register the association was filed with the Khlong Luang District Office, Pathum Thani Province.
The National Culture Commission granted permission to establish the association on 28 June, and the Pathum Thani provincial registrar issued the official registration certificate on 26 July — marking the official founding of the ECTI Association.
The association held its first ECTI International Conference (ECTI-CON), which went on to become the association's flagship annual conference.
The association held its first ECTI Conference on Application Research and Development (ECTI-CARD), a forum dedicated to applied research, innovations, and inventions for real-world use.
The ECTI International Conference (ECTI-CON) reached its 20th edition, reflecting two decades of continuous growth for the association.
The association continues to grow with 3,000+ members and international partnerships.
